Wear Green For Premmies 2012

On the first Wednesday in April each year, we invite everyone to join us by “wearing green for premmies”. If you have given birth prematurely, know a relative or friend that has experienced the NICU/SCN rollercoaster or lost a precious angel after being born too soon, then join us on Wednesday 4th April 2012.

In 2011, we saw almost 20,000 people join us via our Facebook event by wearing something green. Many photos were posted of families & friends wearing a sea of green & 1000′s of supporters wearing our green premmie wrist bands which are available via our website. With the amazing support from all of you in 2011, over $2,300 was donated to five charities. We will be donating to further charities again in 2012.

Wednesday 4th of April 2012 is a day to celebrate all the precious children born early. You do not have to “attend” an event on the day all we ask is that you “wear” something green whether it is to work, school etc.. Examples are a green hat, scarf, pants, t-shirt, wrist band, lanyard, nail polish or even just a scrunchy.
