Premmie Baby – Announcement Message: My water broke on Australia Day with a big gush and a big surprise. We went to Nambour General Hospital for observation and were told that I would be transferred to the RBWH because I was only 31w + 3. Adalita was born at 05:10, 30.01.2010, exactly 32 weeks.She had to stay in the Grantley Stable Neonatal Unit until she was able to be transferred back to Nambour. The time she was in RBWH Brendan, Thomas and I were guests at Ronald McDonald House- the availability of the room meant we were all able to stay together, for which we are immensely grateful. Now we are at home, traveling daily to be with Adalita in Nambour General Hospital, looking forward to the day we bring her home.

Several times labour was stopped during the month until bubby arrived at 7.22am on Monday 31st May. Happy to have our little man arrive so well and healthy even if 10 weeks early. Such a determined little man and a fighter.
