Premature Family Events & Celebrations

Below are a list of current & upcoming events we support. All events listed on this page are current member groups of the National Premmie Foundation.

As of August 2011 Lifes Little Treasures Foundation will be introducing a series of monthly information sessions that will be running for families of premature and sick babies. It will cover areas such as Diet, Feeding, Post Natal Depression, Dentistry, Autism, Developmental Milestones and Occupational Therapy. As the parent of a prem or sick child we are forever wondering if we are “doing the right thing”. We hope that through these sessions you will walk away with information that will enable you to become more confident in your child?s parenting.

L’il Aussie Prems

“Wear Green for Prems”

April 2012

Wear green for prems is a yearly Facebook event held by L’il Aussie Prems as a day to celebrate all children born too soon where the whole family can participate.

After the success of our 6th April 2011 event with almost 20,000 people attending, we will be holding our “online” event to wear something green in April each year by inviting family and friends to wear something green as a day to celebrate all the precious children born early. You do not have to “attend” an event, all we ask is that you “wear” something green on the day whether it is to work, school etc.. Examples are a green hat, scarf, pants, top or even just a scrunchy. We have wrist bands available to wear on the day which you can purchase all year round.

Join our Facebook event page and be kept up to date!
