Our #Foot4prems Campaign

Our committee are overwhelmed and incredibly humbled by the support of our inaugural #foot4prems campaign launched in February! Our campaign reached families not only in Australia but also world-wide. Our campaign was a hot topic in world news and hundreds of families took part by putting a foot forward for premmies on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

For any family who has been touched by a premature birth or spent time in a NICU or SCN, they understand how heartbreaking the journey is watching your child fight for their life. Our campaign was a simple way in which everyone could share their own child’s story on social media with a ‘photo within a photo’ to remember their journey and to raise awareness of the trials and hardships that families experience after an early arrival.

These are just some of the media outlets worldwide who covered our #foot4prems campaign.

Daily Mail (Australia), Today Show (Australia), ABC News (USA), Life Daily (USA), Viralistas (Spain), Kukinews (Korea), Verne (Mexico), Hola (Mexico), El Comercio (Peru), Fox 29 (USA), Good House Keeping (USA), Good Morning America (USA), Fox News Insider (USA), iHeart Radio (Boston), GoodtoKnow (UK), The Telegram (UK), Europe 1 (Paris), Antena3 (Madrid).

We thank all of the families and media outlets around the world for joining in our #foot4prems campaign. We encourage you, the community, to put a foot forward for premmies in February/March/April each year in the lead up to our annual Wear Green For Premmies day. Our event will be celebrated on Wednesday, 5th April 2017 next year.

Hundreds of families in Australia and around the world joined our campaign and put a foot forward for premmies in April….
