Our committee were overwhelmed and incredibly humbled by the support of our inaugural #foot4prems campaign launched in February! Our campaign reached families not only in Australia, but also world-wide. Our campaign was a hot topic in world news and hundreds of families took part by putting a foot forward for premmies on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
For any family who has been touched by a premature birth or spent time in a NICU or SCN, they understand how heartbreaking the journey is watching your child fight for their life. Our campaign was a simple way in which everyone could share their own child’s story on social media with a ‘photo within a photo’ to remember their journey and to raise awareness of the trials and hardships that families experience after an early arrival.
